The holiday season has come to a close but unfortunately for me the weight I gained from all of the good food has not disappeared. With the New Year comes the Thai Preliminary round which will take place this weekend on January 13th. I have heard that the Singapore representatives from 2006 - Ferlyn and Julia - will be in attendance as well. Looking forward to see how things go! You can expect to see pictures up from the event in the "Preliminary Competition" section of the WCS 2007 part of the web page in the next few days and I will include information on how things went in the blog here too.

Hey everyone, Ferlyn(WCS 2006 Singapore) here!
The terroism didnt get to us at all!
The event was GREAT!! it was Bisnagalicious!
I had a GREAT time!
The 2 Thai representatives were awesome! nice girls with great personalities!
Get to see Kondo-san and Fukada-san again! that was just the best new year present i could get!!
THEY WERE AWESOMEE!!!!
Met the new Family member that will be joining WCS 2007 Saito-san! Nice cute guy!
The event was really amazing! there were 2 different halls, one which the competition was held in and just across it is another hall which has all the doujin booths. The ones here are so MUCH COOLER,BIGGER than the ones we have here in Singapore!
one thing to commend, all the Thai cosplayers are really polite and sweet! totally Bisnagalicious!
Oh one more thing, Thai food is BEYOND WORDS!
All the restaurants that Kondo-san brought us to has food that come from above!! BEST!!
Lastly, SHOPPING!! gosh, Julia and myself shopped like crazy! i had to get those big canvas bag to junk all my shopping stuff!
I got to know so many new Thai cosplayers now! its just amazing!
Everytime a WCS event is held, new memories are created and it reminds us of the old ones that we should always cherish.

To Ed, you should go Thailand one day!
Oh yea, before i forget, i'll be coming to Japan with Julia sometime late this month. I'll be in Japan for about a week or more.

Hi Ed! I was so curious to know the new Thai representantive that the last Sunday I searched up and down on the web to find some photos XD finally I found the Comic Party official site and I saw them...they are fantastic and...too kawaii *-* Then their performance was gorgeous! I look forward to meet them also!
The last days I met on web Anni-bunny, German Wcs 2007 representantive: I'm very happy!!
Ed! I would like to ask you a question: why isn't there Maria and me's profiles in the english version? O-O I noticed it few minutes ago..

Verena> You are correct! Looking at what needs to be done for the english version, your profiles are not up yet. They will not be up immediately but they are on the way.
I am happy that this year we are keeping the same amount of content in both the English and Japanese version so everyone can see how things are going. One thing that I do ask for is some patience however as there is a time delay in the the translations for the English version. If anyone sees anything odd, wrong, mis-spelled or missing from the English page, please leave a comment and I will do my best to have it corrected. Thanks everyone!
