The representatives from Spain were selected at Salon del Manga in Barcalona on the same weekend as their counterparts in Denmark. Maria Tomas and Nicolas Garcias' profiles have been updated here so I thought I would give you a little preview. Maria has been cosplaying for around 4 years and introduces herself as a social and friendly person who sees cosplay as not just a hobby but a lifestyle. Nicolas has been doing cosplay for 5 years and likes Cardcaptor Sakura and Totoro. Here is a picture of the pair:

Just got back from SALON DEL MANGA in Barcelona!!
So nice to meet Pol, Pedro & Raquel Spain team 2006~ *(^_^)* and I met Florian (German Organiser haha) there too!
Made great and wonderful friends with the cosplayers in SPAIN! Maria n Nicholas' Performance was sooo goood! SUGOI~! I cant wait to see them in Japan again next year!
I WILL be going to WCS 2008 ^^!
Looking forward to seeing you again! and to support the event as much as I can! The performances are getting better and better every year!
World Cosplay Summit has made such an impact in my life T_T ! The friends I meet, the understanding of the anime industry, the contacts we get! It has changed my life entirely...

So excited! I can't wait for WCS 2008!
Currently, I am in contact with the organisers of LONDON's main anime-cosplay fair..hopefully I can get them to enter into World Cosplay Summit very soon! Will keep you informed of more details! ^O^
Really wish to do as much as I can to see WCS continuing its success every year! WCS has impacted my life greatly, and I really want more people to have this same chance to experience it as well!
