The ChinaJoy event finished yesterday but looking through the pictures I took there are still a few I would like to share with you. This one is of the video running behind the 2 large video screens behind the main stage. In contrast with how popular anime, games and cosplay is in China there is not a lot of Japanese manga and anime around. This is very unlike many countries around the world where Japanese manga and anime is a mainstay. Cosplay is a very safe enjoyable way of promoting cultural intermixing and having a little advertising about the international feel of the WCS event behind the stage was beneficial I think.
