For the cosplay parade, the use of changing rooms inside TV Aichi’s headquarters is limited to the first 100 people. After changing please leave the changing area immediately so that as many people as possible can use the changing rooms. Even doing this we will have limited space. Bags and other items can be left in the changing area (TV Aichi’s large conference room) but please take all valuables with you. Please look after your own belongings. Be aware that TVA will not be responsible for any property that goes missing. Please note that the changing areas will be closed during the parade.

There are no real restrictions regarding costumes worn by cosplayers who view the events.
The World Cosplay Summit is a manga, anime and games festival. If possible, costumes should be worn keeping the main purpose of the event in mind. Costumes that are too revealing, cross-dressing, real military uniforms, and civil servants’ attire are forbidden. Please note that for those who disregard the above stipulations, be aware that the cosplayer may be ejected from the venue.



The changing area is inside Oasis 21.
The actual changing area at the site will be announced nearer to the day. On the day itself guidance around the venue will be made available, and staff at the reception desk will be available to help if there are any questions or problems. There will be a storage area for bags set aside for that purpose only, so please carry all valuables with you at all times. Please look after your own bags. Be aware that TVA will not responsible for any property that goes missing.

You may enter all shops except Donguri Republic and the NHK Character Shop.
As there will be not only spectators for the Cosplay Summit but also people there who are shopping and eating, do not disturb or cause any problems for others. Please note that for those who disregard the above stipulations, be aware that the cosplayer may be ejected from the venue.



There is no need to do a performance.
The winner will be chosen from amongst the spectators.



To the presentation booth which opens from 1pm.
As dressing in cosplay is fine around the Oasis 21 area please feel free to take photos as well. The spectator seats will open at 4:30pm, please do not try to access the area prior to that time. All information and precautions are posted on the homepage which can be found here.



It will be broadcast on August 26th (Saturday) from 12:30 to 1:25pm.
On top of this will be a live broadcast just prior to the event on the 5th August (Saturday). All representatives from each country and those in the parade will be seen, so please watch!



Even if not dressing in cosplay it is possible to watch.
