< 3:30pm~4:30pm Cosplay Parade >
Once the Mixer Event finished it was off to the Cosplay Parade!
The starting point, at the Osu Kannon Temple grounds, Japanese representative cosplayers (Tokyo, WEB) also joined the group. First, commemorative photos were taken with Osu Kannon Temple in the background.
At the 2006 World Cosplay Summit, there were 20 cosplayers from 9 countries and 110 general participant cosplayers, giving an all-time high of 130 people who took part in the large parade.

Following the Cosplay Parade, the cosplayers moved quickly to Sakae in central Nagoya to the TV Aichi studio. The championships that were to be held the next day brought a lot of excitement, and last year’s Grand champion winning Italian team’s Georgia and Francesca also participated together with the WCS2006 representative cosplayers in the live broadcast.
The guest commentator for the next days championship, Toru Furuya, was also at the studio!
August the 5th was an action packed day and with the TV broadcast the day came to a close.
Finally, tomorrow is the World Cosplay Summit main event, the Cosplay Championship!!!
