As organizers at TV Aichi and related staff we would like to say a big thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone involved in the World Cosplay Summit 2006. Cosplay and manga have become languages of communication around the world. We’ve been able to gather together people from 9 countries from across the globe, and this should be instrumental in making Japan have more pride in its culture. We would like all of you gathered in Nagoya from many countries around the world to continue to cherish your experiences here in Japan, and to let people in your own countries know about Japanese culture. And to all of you gathered in Oasis 21, It would make us very happy if you can apply yourselves and connect with other countries through manga.
Next year the number of participating countries will increase, and we will be celebrating the events 5th year with World Cosplay Summit 2007. Our future goal is to hold the World Cosplay Summit 2010 as a Japanese cultural event at the World Expo in Shanghai 2010.
We ask for everyone’s continued support. See you next year at the World Cosplay Summit 2007!
