Partner Organization: Romics Romics is a promotion organization that holds the Romics Manga and Anime Festival each year and is also involved in “I Catelli Animati”; the famous International Animated Film Festival in Italy. This is the 5th year that the Romics Manga and Anime Festival has been held. Each year major publishing companies, book stores, game and video companies are involved in the presentation of the Manga event.

< Italian Preliminary Competition Course of Events >

	The World Cosplay Summit 2006 preliminary contest was held on December 11th at the “Romics Manga and Anime Festival” which took place from December 8th to December 11th.

	Organizing staff from Romics and WCS elected 5 potential representative teams.

	The 5 potential representative teams take to the main stage at the Romics event. The audience is asked to cheer for the team that they think is most suitable and the group that receives the greatest applause is chosen as the representative team.
