The
WCS 2006 representative selection was a prominent fixture on
the brochure for the event. Who would be chosen as the Italian
representatives for this year?

Each
year there is such a large number of cosplayers who take part
in the contest that this year the selection process before the
final performance lasted for beginning to end (December 8th -
11th) of the Romics Manga and Anime Festival.
This
year, Georgia, the winner of the World Cosplay Summit 2005 individual
competition, took part as one of the judges involved in the selection.
The
selection process lasted for the entire 4 days but in particular
the 11th was a Sunday and the day of the final decision so cosplayers
gathered from around Italy to watch. As an aside, the girl dressed
as Queen Emeraldas reportedly came from the Turin, site of the
2006 Winter Olympics.
