So far, from the many countries we've heard from that wish to participate, Australia has been chosen as a new participating country for 2009. The results were judged impartially by TV Aichi.
For countries other than Australia that wish to take part, please complete the application form. TV Aichi will judge the applications impartially, and will then announce the countries that satisfy the standard criteria to be new participating countries. (One country will be chosen. Please note that it is possible that there will be no new participating country).
- The Application Selection Process

Fill in the required sections on the application form for the 2009 World Cosplay Summit and send it in.

The "Event sponsors (partner organizations) regulations" will be sent from TV Aichi within 7 working days (not counting Saturdays, Sundays and holidays) to your given address.

Indicate whether you agree/disagree with the "Event sponsors (partner organizations) regulations" and send to the address shown.

Event sponsors that agree with the regulations will be registered as candidates to be new participating countries.
※ TV Aichi will be in contact to confirm your registration within 7 working days (not counting Saturdays, Sundays and holidays) to your given address. - 5:

Event sponsors that are registered as new participating country candidates: Within two weeks of receiving an email of notification of completion of registration to be a newly participating country, please send us a DVD showing event performances (if you have event pamphlets or documents with details of the event, please send them together) to the address for DVDs and documents on the "regulations" form.

Following the deadline for applications (August 31st 2008 (Sun)), TV Aichi will impartially judge the applications.

New countries to participate in the World Cosplay Summit 2009 will be announced.
TV Aichi will contact you to let you know if you have been chosen/not been chosen as a new participating country via the contact address given at the time of application.
※Event sponsors chosen for the new participating countries will be announced on the World Cosplay Summit website.
