Wednesday July 29, 2009 the representative Cosplayers of 4 countries visited the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs.
Kenjirou Moji director of cultural exchanges in the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs attended and talked a lot with the representative Cosplayers.
SKE 48 who is a special supporter of the WCS 2009 also ran to there with wearing J-STYLE that people in the world are watching.

The Representative Australia made speeches on behalf of the Cosplayres.
Katherine Lee: I'm a little nervous but I'm happy to come here!
Gabriella Lowgren:I love Manga and Anime.So I'm happy to come to Japan. When I go back my country , I'd like to be proud for my friends.

Mr.Moji sent the following messages.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has positively used The Pop Culture for the cultural diplomacy.
Then I have 2 requests.
Not only focus on Cosplay but also touch the real contemporary Japan. Then participate the event which introduce Cosplay and Japanese culture and send Japan."
