Samsung EVERLAND Co., LTD was opened in 1976. It is the largest theme park in South Korea with a wide variety of rides and different theme areas. About 9 million people visit the amusement park each year. It is a kind of fantasy world in the hills south of Seoul and with a many different facilities such as a hotel, cabins and bus service it has great access despite its location far from the city. This offers a unique setting for the cosplay contests which are held there twice a year.
WCF(Wonder Cosplay Festival)
WCF (Wonder Cosplay Festival) is the International Cosplay exchange organization at Korea. Since 2008, they have planned, managed, and reported events in Korea including the WCF 2009 preliminaries.

Preliminary Round Course of Events

[1]	Entries accepted through the official WCF web site. The first preliminary was held on the 21st of February, and the second on 26th on April. 9 teams moved on to the final.
[2]	On Sunday, the 7th of June, "The Everland Cosplay Party Grand stage" was held, and through the stage performance, one team of 2 people were selected as Korean representatives by the judges.
