5th finalist double is chosen at Bakudan Anime
The 5th vacancy to WCS 2009's Brazilian Final was filled by the double Karime Barbosa Cruz and Yasmine Barbosa Cruz. The sisters were selected in Manaus city (state of Amazonas), at the Bakudan Anime event, on December 21, 2008.Karime and Yasmine presented a performance inspired on the anime InuYasha. Karime played InuYasha, while Yasmine interpreted the character's half-brother, Sesshomaru.
Two doubles were disqualified on this selective, for having infringed a tournament rule.
The two days of Bakudan Anime, at Objetivo high school, had an excellent structure. The good weather was an excellent ally - there was only a brief drizzle on the last day of event. Besides the cosplayers presentations, there were anime exhibitions, animeke, live bands, bingo and video games.
Final classification for the Selective Bakudan Anime
