Mercado Mundo Mix selects one more double to the national final

Double based on the anime One Piece presented a musical and filled the audience with enthusiasm
Fans from Sao Paulo have one more double to support on Brazilian WCS 2009's final. On May 3, the selective Mercado Mundo Mix took place at Sonique Bar, in Sao Paulo city.
Mercado Mundo Mix selective had been programmed, previously, for April 5, on Multipark, Paulista Avenue. However, it was cancelled due to a strong rain. Only one double that would perform on this date couldn't be at the selective on Sunday: Claudia Simao de Almeida and Christiane Coelho Silva Ferreira.
With cosplays based on the anime One Piece, the double Renan Aguiar de Castro and Geraldo Jose Cecilio Junior conquered the affection of judges and audience by presenting a musical performance. The presentation of Brooke and Franky, from One Piece, summed 98 points out of 100.
The double of Final Fantasy 6, Jeffrey Haiduck Moraes, as Kefka Palazzo, and Amanda Simola Tan, as Terra Brandford, was the second place. This double goes to the on-line WCS selective, on which they will dispute the audience's vote to the national stage's vacancy.
The quality of performances drew attention of Juliana Minako, the master of cerimonies along with presenter Kuroda. "All of the cosplayers did really good. I think the performances are very similar to the originals from mangas and animes", she said. Juliana is a cosplayer since 2001. "When I started doing cosplay, it was more like a game. Now it is a professional thing."
The selective had also two extra prizes: the prize of best costume, that went to Simone Setti de Almeida and Vitor Mateus de Castro, as Juste Belmont and Mixim Kischine from the game Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, and the best performance, that went to the double of Final Fantasy 6, Jeffrey and Amanda.
