AnimeXtreme chooses one more double for WCS Brazil's final

Based on the game series Soul Scalibur, participants defeated other six doubles
Fans from Rio Grande do Sul state have their representatives for WCS 2009 Brazil's final. Pedro Messias Hoffmann and Vivian Ribeiro Silveira, that made cosplays inspired on the characters Nightmare and Xianghua, from videogame series Soul Scalibur, won the WCS selective AnimeXtreme.
The 11th edition of the event took place on April 19 in Porto Alegre city (Rio Grande do Sul state). Its program privileged fans of anime and mangas.
This year, AnimeXtreme had, besides the WCS selective, the Gaucho Cosplay Circuit (CGC), destined to cosplays with non-oriental themes.
Gigs with the bands Yosh, The Kira Justice and Ryokan cheered up AnimeXtreme's audience. The event also had other attractions, like animeke, a games area, the fanzine fair Fanzinext, a RPG area and even a talk about philosophy within the universe of comics.

Final classification for the Selective AnimeXtreme

  1. 1st place:Pedro Messias Hoffmann / Vivian Ribeiro Silveira (91 points)

  2. 2nd place:Ernani Luis de Andrade / Viviane Silveira Goncalves (89 points)

  3. 3rd place:Gabriel Luiz Vargas Cunha / Luana Santos Barreto (85.5 points)

  4. 4th place:Eduardo Saffer Medevedovski / Max Kaastrup Stephan (85 points)


  5. 5th place:Gabriel Isare Stange Mueller / Alisson Daniel Gesat Farias (83.5 points)

  6. 6th place:Matheus Tietbohl da Silva / Gene Claas de Bona (80 points)

  7. 7th place:Carla Carolina Folchini Visintainer / Mario Antonio Fleck (76.5 points)
