Rio Anime Club defines the 13th double to the Brazilian final

Carolina Michelli and Tamires Fernandes won by 0.5 point of difference, with cosplays based on Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.
Little by little, the vacancies to WCS's Brazilian final are being filled. On May 17, the dispute for the 13th vacancy was a good one.
Carolina Michelli and Tamires Fernandes, that interpreted cosplays from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, defeated the double Daniela Mayumi and Cassiana Santos, with costumes based on Tsubasa manga, by only 0.5 point of difference, on Rio Anime Club, in Rio de Janeiro city.
The winners had also tried the vacancy on selective Mercado Mundo Mix, less than a month ago, in Sao Paulo. As they didn't get to classify, Carolina and Tamires traveled to Rio de Janeiro, where they presented cosplays inspired on the characters Viral and Yoko.
Eight doubles attended this selective. Besides the cosplay tournament, the event counted on a big audience that, by 10 A.M., was already forming a line that circled the block of Hebraica Club, where Rio Anime Club took place.
Rio Anime Club not only satisfied cosplayers fans, but also presented a special program to videogames lovers. On the event, players were trying to break Guiness Book games records.
The musical attractions were another highlight. It had a show with the band Start, of Stephan Peixoto, son of the singer Marcelo D2. Peixoto mixes hip hop with videogames' beats to produce his sound.
This was the last WCS selective in Rio de Janeiro, but there are still two vacancies left to be filled. They will be defined on Kodam event, in Brazilia city, and on the on-line selective.
