Jeffrey and Amanda get the last vacancy to the Brazilian final of WCS 2009
The double from Sao Paulo Jeffrey Haiduk Moraes and Amanda Simola Tan have a good reason to celebrate. With the difference of 1.88 point from the second place, they won the Mercado Mundo Mix on-line selective and conquered the last vacancy to the final of WCS 2009 - Etapa JBC Brazil (WCS 2009 - JBC Brazil Stage). The great decision will take place on June 20, in Sao Paulo.
Jeffrey and Amanda, that had been second place on the selective Mercado Mundo Mix, got 82.88 out of 100 points on the repechage. The second place, Daniela and Cassiana, obtained 81 points.
In 2009, the on-line selective for WCS Brazil's final had some modifications. Besides the internet users' votes , the repechage counted on the avaliation of three judges: Beto Lago, creator of the fashion event Mercado Mundo Mix and sponsor of the on-line selective, Vanessa Lita, Japao Pop BR Institute's events coordinator, and Renato Siqueira, journalist, specialized in pop culture.
Thirteen doubles, chosen on preliminary events around Brazil, participated from the on-line selective.
