Korean characteristic is hot action performance
On Sunday, June 7th, the preliminary contest was held in Korea. That contest took place in Yonin which is located about an hour by car from Soul. There is an amusement park "Ever land resort", and they have rose garden, attractions, and safari park there, so both children and adults will enjoy. Though on the contest day's weather was shower, a lot of people like family and students came there. This time, a preliminary contest was located at the grand stage (1,500 people can be in.) Usually, circus and events are performed at the stage. All participants performed confident actions at the nice stage.
Korea takes part in the WCS for 3 times, and last two years, the representatives of Korea were both guy pair. So, Korean characteristic is hot action performance. Also this year, most of participants from 7 groups were consisted of guys.

At 10:00 a.m, the rehearsal was started
Each groups did a staff meeting with gaffers and directors, and at 2:00 p.m, the primary contest was started. The judges were 4 people, and they were Ms.Renee who was the American representative in WCS championship 2008, WCS Denmark organizer Mr.Adrian, Mr.Ed from WCS secretariat, and a staff from TV Aichi.
Unique Korean action were performed, and after three groups has done their performance, the guest cosplayers appeared. The guest cosplayers were WCS 2008 championship Osaka JPN representative YUI MINO, WCS 2007 championship Osaka JPN representative Kazuki, Shiguma, and WCS 2006 championship Japan representative GOLDY.
Male and female pair performed very hot action!
And the late contest, Korean representatives from last year was joined in different team. The contest was very spectacular with hot actions!
Finally, Entry number 5 Hong. Sang Ho and Lee. Seon Hye who have performed "Fate/stay night" won the contest. They were male and female pair, and both performer performed very hot action. At the last time of the contest, all performer and guest performer stood on the stage, and the curtain fell with lots of camera flash and sound of crapping hands. Two winners will do their best to make their costumes and performance for WCS championship 2009 on August. We'll looking forward to see their hot and powerful performance!
