Thailand Final Round
June 27 (sun) The World Cosplay Summit Thailand Representative round was held in front of busy shopping district Chamchuri Square during "Oishi Cosplay 4" in Bangkok.
Originally scheduled for May, but due to the intense disturbances in Thailand it was delayed again and again until it could finally be held.
The originally booked hall was damaged by fire so the location was quickly changed so the event could take place.
Even though the World Cosplay Summit Thailand representative round was held during a state of emergency, this year's event gathered together around 4,000 people including many cosplayers.
The representative trial was held on a large stage assmebled in front of the square bustling with many cosplayers.
It was held at 5 p.m. A total of 16 teams competed through their performances.
(Of the winning teams at the Chiang Mai defaulted.)
The level of the Thailand representative round is improving every year. This year a unprecedented high level of performances was given.
The two-person team chosen to be the Thailand representatives are Orawan Aggavinate and Patawikorn Uttisen who preformed "Final Fantasy VII Advent Children".
