AKB48 from Akihabara in Tokyo is expanding in nationwide.
The first branch group was made at Sakae in Nagoya city. SKE named after the initial of SaKaE that is an activity base at Sakae in Nagoya. Yasushi Akimoto a songwriter works as a total producer. SKE48 is an idol group that activity started on July 30, 2008. The concept is "The idol who can go to meet". Their two-hour performances filled with songs, dances and various talks at the SKE48 Theater (Sunshine Studio) on the second floor of Sunshine Sakae, the entertainment complex in downtown Sakae, Nagoya.
As of April 29, 2011 there are 57 members in total:
14 chosen from the first group audition of 2,670 people;
17 chosen from the second group audition of 3,248 people;
11 chosen from the third group audition of 2,396 people;
15 chosen from the fourth group audition of 5,888 people.

Their fifth single "Banzai Venus" was released on March 9, 2011.
Japanese drum unit "Yusodajin Aramaha"
Fueki Yoshihiko
Has played the koto since early childhood. He also plays other Japanese instruments such as the shamisen. In 2001, at the age of 15, he started playing the Japanese drums. Around that time he made his professional debut participating in the forming of one of the Nagoya's unique professional Japanese drum performance groups Dakanto.
At the end of 2006, he worked as a soloist at the Angkor-Gyeongju World Culture Expo 2006 in Cambodia. After that he actively focused on the Shishin. In counterpart he also plays percussion instruments from other countries and plays string instruments in recording sessions and with the rock band SONIC AGITATION on their Japan tour.
TV appearances; net performances; Aichi Expo and Aichi Prefecture Week Final; first Japanese drum performance at Zepp Nagoya; performed with Hiroshi Itsuki, Shinji Tanimura, Princess Tenko, Koroke, Yoshimitsu Nakamura and others; performed overseas in America, Korea, India, Cambodia; was invited to Georgetown University in the United States as a special lecturer. He is spreading the charm of the Japanese drums worldwide.

Tokugawa Muneharu Procession
When the Japanese economy was stagnated by ordinances in the Edo Period the seventh generation feudal lord of the Owari Clan, Tokugawa Muneharu, established Nagoya as a "City of Art" through a variety of policy reforms.
The parade is held in the realm of Tokugawa Muneharu on one of Nagoya's busiest streets, Nishiki Boulevard.
Last year calligraphy street performance gained popularity in Japan and this too will be performed live during the procession.

As the Japan representatives will not have been selected until the next day, representatives from the sixteen remaining countries will proceed complemented with the members of SKE48. A new addition for this year is a special viewing section will be set up for general cosplayers.
