The Newsflash of WCS2009 Championship
The WCS championship was held at OASIS21 on August 2, 2009.
The representative cosplayers of 15 countries showed their performance. In these performances, YuRie, Japanese representative successfully obtained the world champion. They become the first world champion in the Japanese representatives. And also this was the first time that Japan preliminary round had held the same day of the WCS championship.
The application of the entry from official web site, 5 teams had passed the first judge showed their performance to aim for the seat of Japan representative at SUNSHINE SAKAE.
SKE48, a special supporter of The WCS2009 had a live performance. It was broadcasted to the place of the championship. SUNSHINE SAKAE was heated up by them. Especially the audience gave the biggest claps for cosplayres to decide the Japan representative.
Finally YuRiE was chosen as the Japan representative, ran to OASIS21 that had already finished until the 7th team performance in the championship.
As a prize of grand champion of the Japan preliminary round, they were presented high class sewing machine [Home –Rock –Kagari III df4] by Brother Industries.

･SUNSHINE SAKAE presents WCS2009 Japan preliminary round(Japanese)
Showing the wonderful opening picture in the hall, the WCS2009 had started that the representative cosplayers appeared by a couple team with wearing the actually costume.
As guest judge:Go Nagai, Toru Furuya, Ichiro Mizuki, Britney Hamada and 10 of public judges from official web site judged the championship.
Britney Hamada appeared with a familiar suitcase and made the audience laughed with her humorous speech.

After finishing of 15 performances, SKE48 a special supporter and Ichiro Mizuki had a [Majinger-Z] live performance in addition Ichiro Mizuki had a single live. The hall had been full of excitement.
After the live concert MC and all representative cosplayers of 15 countries came on the stage. Finally it was the time of result announcement.

The trophy was presented by Go Nagai and ,the airline ticket catalog for the overseas representative of the preliminary round by Toru Furuya and the Foreign Minister prize by Kenjirou Moji the director of Public Diplomacy Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
